ONEDC - Summary of Changes
Please note all changes outlined will not impact any existing services and only apply to new services ordered from 5th October 2025.
👤User Experience Changes
Advanced Management features including advanced reporting, alerting and infrastructure visualisation will be available to all users at no additional charge.

- A unified booking experience where a single request can cover access, inductions, parking, and room bookings reducing your time on submissions.

- Online inductions removing the need to physically attend site within set times on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
- Enhanced request visibility with real-time status updates, document uploading and improved communication capability for every request and order.

- Enhanced Service Oversight showing more of your NEXTDC services directly within the portal.


📶Connectivity Changes
- 25Mbps Internet Connectivity available with any AXON port at no charge, with bandwidth upgrades available via the self-service AXON portal with no long-term commitments.
- Simplified Cross Connects with “Rack to Carrier” and “Rack to Rack” cross connects consolidated into a single “SMOF Cross Connect” service allowing broader reach into the extensive local ecosystem. Price changes will only apply to future services, and more information can be found in the FAQ.
New connectivity services ordered after 5 October may have a new price structure. Some services will cost less while others will increase modestly. Additional pricing details are outlined in the Frequently Asked Questions. All connectivity service pricing will remain visible in the portal prior to ordering new services. - Unified Metro Connectivity with 1Gbps & 10Gpbs Data Centre Interconnects (DCIe) and SMOF Cross Connects available at a single price point.
- 24 Hour Expedited Connectivity allowing rapid delivery of cross connects for last minute changes in projects. Expedited Delivery incurs a small surcharge, with standard delivery time frames still available with no surcharge.
- Decommissioning Fees will be introduced for all new connectivity services ordered after 5 October 2025 to better reflect the operational costs required to deliver class leading support for your connectivity. Decommissioning fees are only applied when you cancel a service and contribute to the cost of removing the services that are no longer required.
